Black and White: February 2010

I am Vici. Yes, my name has been mispronounced at least a trillion times (now that we know how much that is!)! My dad gave me the name AND the spelling. In his day, he had to take Latin and this is where it is found. "Veni, Vidi, Vici" is a famous Latin sentance reportedly written by Julius Caesar in 47 BC as a comment on his short war with Pharnaces II of Pontus in the city of Zela (currently known as Zile, in Turkey.) In plain English, the translation is, "I Came, I Saw, I Conquered."

The name fits. I am short like Juluis. When I come across challenges, I hit them head on and I always conquer them, well almost always!

I love God, my husband, my daughter, my dog - but not necessarily in that order, every day! Come journey with me through life's observations!
